Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) position located in Castro Valley, California. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a high-acuity trauma and emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with adult and pediatric emergency care, including advanced certifications and skills pertinent to trauma and acute emergency situations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license; ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications; 3 years of experience or at least 2 years for seasoned RNs; experience in an emergency room setting; and knowledge of multiple patient acuity levels.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers; community hospital experience; familiarity with Epic charting system; and prior work in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced emergency care environment, managing a volume of approximately 130 patient visits daily across a 24-room department. TNCC certification is required within 90 days of start date.
