Direct Support Professional (DSP), Wells Maine

Morrison Center is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP), to be based in Wells, Maine Morrison Center is hiring an additional Part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP), 24 Hours a week, Tuesday - Friday: 9am - 3pm. The DSP must be willing to transport clients out into the community, provide personal care, complete daily documentation, and have a good understanding of what community supports is. DSP staffer to support the clients in maintaining, obtaining, and managing their goals. Benefits of the Job: Pay: $21/hour 403(B) retirement plan with company contributions 18 hours a week Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 8am – 2pm. Working in South Berwick Requirements of the Direct Support Professional: HS Diploma or GED Required DSP Certification preferred but will train the right candidate CPR/First Aid Certification Safety training such as Mandt, Safety Care, etc. Prior experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Valid Maine Driver’s license required and a clean driving record Experienced with transfers in and out of wheelchair, using a lift, and is comfortable working in someone’s private home with the Shared Living DSP who resides there as well.
