Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across various shifts. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling to support departmental needs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams accurately for a diverse patient population.
Operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
Collaborate with physicians to interpret findings and assist in diagnoses.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, complying with confidentiality standards.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Adjust imaging techniques based on individual patient requirements and protocols.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited ultrasound technician program.
Credentialed as a Certified Ultrasound Technician (ARDMS or CAAHEP certification preferred).
Proven experience performing a variety of ultrasound procedures.
Ability to work independently and adapt to variable shifts.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of patient care standards and diagnostic protocols.
