Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour Job Schedule Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen individuals, personal property, and/or shipments entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client‑directed procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner and report security‑related concerns to site leadership. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to operational and restricted areas. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to docks, trailer areas, sorting areas, and other high‑traffic locations. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. X‑ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
