Director of Cardiovascular Services

Job Summary The Administrative Director of Cardiology at Centerpoint Medical Center is responsible for integrating and coordinating all cardiovascular services—including Cardiology, Cath Lab, EP Lab, ECHO, Heart Failure, and Outreach—to ensure optimal patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop strategic and tactical plans to maximize cardiovascular services, aligning with HCA initiatives. Manage capital and operational budgets for the cardiovascular program. Lead physician recruitment, business development, and marketing & sales efforts. Integrate the cardiology medical practices with inpatient services. Coordinate STEMI status and collaborate with other HCA facilities. Advocate for quality initiatives and align physician and hospital objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 5 years of healthcare experience (Master’s preferred: MSN, MBA, or MHA). Licensure/BCLS required. Minimum five years of healthcare management experience in cardiovascular or related program development service lines. Experience in service line development and business leadership.
