If you're passionate about diagnostics, rebuilding engines, and working with a team that values quality craftsmanship, we want to meet you!We're looking for a Diesel Engine Technician to join our Engine Shop. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty trucks while working with some of the best technicians in the industry. You'll also have opportunities to mentor teammates, lead projects, and continue growing your career.What You'll DoNo two days are the same! Your responsibilities will include:Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines and related systems.Perform complete engine and transmission rebuilds.Complete preventative maintenance and major mechanical repairs.Accurately document repairs and diagnostic findings.Communicate with Parts and Service teams to ensure repairs stay on schedule.Identify additional maintenance or safety concerns for customers.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership standards.Stay current on OEM technical bulletins and industry best practices.Mentor apprentice technicians and help lead the team when needed.What We're Looking ForWe're searching for someone who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in delivering quality work.Qualifications3-5+ years of diesel diagnostic experience (10+ years preferred)High School Diploma or GEDValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (CDL is a plus)Cummins Engine Repair Certification (Required)Master Technician certifications in multiple areas preferredASE Certifications are a plusStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsIntermediate computer skills, including proficiency with email, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and the ability to learn and use dealership management and diagnostic softwareExcellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat Makes You SuccessfulYou are someone who:Loves diagnosing challenging engine issues.Pays attention to the details.Works efficiently without sacrificing quality.Enjoys mentoring and helping teammates grow.Takes pride in keeping equipment safe and reliable.Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to:Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, 75 lbs. frequently, and over 100 lbs. occasionally with assistance or appropriate equipment.Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.Safely operate hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and shop equipment.Work above shoulder height and underneath vehicles using creepers or lifting equipment.Enter and exit truck cabs and access engine compartments safely.Why Join Us?We're committed to investing in our technicians and creating a workplace where your experience is recognized and your career can grow.Ready to Put Your Skills to Work?If you're an experienced diesel technician looking for your next opportunity with a company that values expertise, teamwork, and professional growth, we'd love to hear from you.Apply Today and Help Keep Our Customers Moving!Notice Regarding Job Posting ScamsWe are aware that fraudulent job postings and recruitment scams are becoming more common.
