Sr. Accounting Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Accounting Analyst in the Greater Minneapolis area. This Accounting professional will perform general accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely accounting close cycles and the development of subsequent internal and external financial statements and reports, including entries, analysis and reconciliation of accounting ledgers and other accounts and preparation of inter-company billings, property valuations, required regulatory reporting forms and tax filings. Additional responsibilities include: Participate in and support accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting close cycles, collect and analyze a variety of complex financial data in order to perform accounting processes and participate in or lead special projects as assigned such as systems upgrades, rate case support, or financial analysis.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related business degree

4+ years of experience in general financial accounting and reporting

Strong experience doing journal entries, accruals, pre-paid, amortizations and account reconciliations in a high-volume environment

Strong Microsoft Office experience

Experience with SAP
