Registered Respiratory Therapist – Cambridge Memorial Hospital Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) is a community hospital serving the Waterloo Region. The role is to support the Pulmonary Diagnostic Program and provide care to ambulatory and inpatient patients. Salary : $38.35 – $53.28 per hour. Assist in monitoring pulmonary function equipment, conduct calibration and quality control checks, and arrange for maintenance/repair as required. Support anesthesiologist with airway management during ECT. Provide clinical support and instruction to Conestoga College Respiratory Students. Document and maintain accurate patient records and observations. Ensure a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. Physical Demands Prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting. Work Schedule Must be available to work 12‑hour days. Posted hours do not represent a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change. Qualifications Member in good standing of the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario. Member in good standing with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists and the Respiratory Therapy Society of Ontario. Current BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred. 1–2 years experience in all aspects of pulmonary function testing. Highly motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis. Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system preferred. Valid criminal record check available in original format and dated within two months of conditional offer.
