Position Overview: Roofing Sales Representative The Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads, performing roof inspections, educating homeowners, guiding customers through the insurance process (when applicable), and closing residential roofing projects. This is a performance-based sales role with high earning potential. Top performers in roofing sales can earn six figures annually. You will work directly with homeowners in Collierville, Germantown, Memphis, and surrounding areas to: Inspect residential roofing systems Identify storm damage Provide detailed estimates Present roofing solutions Close roofing contracts Maintain strong communication throughout the project lifecycle Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & Prospecting Generate new roofing leads through door knocking, referrals, networking, and company-provided marketing leads Follow up on inbound roofing inquiries quickly and professionally Build relationships with homeowners in storm-affected neighborhoods 2. Roof Inspections & Consultations Perform thorough roof inspections Identify storm damage, wear, and roofing system failures Educate homeowners about roof replacement options Explain the roofing insurance claim process when applicable 3. Sales & Closing Present roofing estimates clearly and confidently Overcome objections professionally Close residential roofing contracts Maintain accurate documentation and CRM updates 4. Customer Experience Set clear expectations with homeowners Maintain communication during scheduling and installation Ensure customer satisfaction and request reviews upon project completion Qualifications Self-motivated and competitive Comfortable working outdoors and climbing ladders Strong communicator with professional presence Organized and disciplined with follow-up Able to manage multiple prospects at different stages Sales experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right candidate.
