Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) is seeking qualified scrub technicians to join the surgical team in Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves supporting a variety of service lines, with a primary focus on orthopedic and spine surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their licensure and certifications on the first day of employment. The role offers full-time hours with a rotating schedule including late shifts and weekends.

Job Details:

• Location: Nashville, TN
• Schedule: Full-time hours, 10-hour shifts, with 1-2 late shifts per week. Call is rotating on weekends.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), BLS certification, Tennessee registered nurse (RN) license, and BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic and spine service lines is preferred.
• Float: Typically do not float; in low volume periods, opportunities may arise in other surgical services departments within scope.
• Additional Information: The role involves supporting a surgical unit with 5 operating rooms and 1 cysto room, utilizing Meditech documentation system. The team primarily performs orthopedic, spine, general, bariatric, vascular, urology, gynecology, neuro, ENT, podiatry, and robotic surgeries. Candidates should demonstrate experience in the listed service lines and possess strong scrub technician skills in a sterile environment.
