divh2CNA/Patient Care Assistant/h2pAs a CNA/Patient Care Assistant (PCA), you will be a central figure on our patient care team, providing direct, compassionate, hands-on support to patients and assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and a supportive healing environment. Every day, you will expertly perform basic patient care duties like taking vital signs, assisting with ADLs, monitoring and documenting patient intake/output, and collecting specimens. You will also maintain patient rooms, transport patients and equipment, and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff, adhering strictly to safety protocols and infection control. To be successful in this role, you will combine a strong empathetic approach, meticulous attention to detail in clinical tasks, and excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary teamwork. Demonstrates clinical/technical expertise in general nursing skills. Understands age-specific variations in the patient population/liliDocuments patient care measures according to patient care standards, policies, and procedures. Manages age-specific needs through appropriate adaptation of interventions (as directed by the licensed nurse)/liliAssists in and accompanies patients in the admission, transfer, transport, and discharge procedures. Provides for the safe care of patient valuables during these processes.
