Family Practice - With OB Physician

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in St. Ignace, Michigan, beginning August 2026. This role focuses on adult and geriatric primary care in a supportive clinical setting, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit community.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients
Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
Prescribe medications and manage chronic disease care
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient outcomes

Requirements:

Active FNP certification (board-certified)
Current, unrestricted Michigan NP license
Experience in adult/geriatric primary care preferred
Proficiency with EPIC EMR strongly preferred
Strong communication and patient-care skills
DEA license in good standing
