Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, enhancing muscle function, and fostering recovery tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Evaluate patients' functional levels through diagnostic tests relating to muscle, nerve, joint, and overall physical capabilities to inform treatment strategies.
• Direct and oversee Physical Therapy Assistants in the delivery of therapeutic activities to ensure adherence to established care plans.
• Administer diverse therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise instructions, and the application of physical agents, as prescribed by licensed physicians.
• Conduct assessments of the patients' home environments to recommend modifications that facilitate greater independence in their daily activities.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries to comply with regulatory standards.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to plan and evaluate comprehensive treatment strategies for patients.
• Communicate with patients and their families to provide education on treatment protocols and therapeutic devices, fostering a collaborative approach to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work primarily with adult clients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Each patient's treatment is personalized to cater to their unique recovery goals, emphasizing functional independence and overall well-being. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required.
• Current PT licensure in good standing in the state of Florida.
• At least 1 year of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in acute or home care.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and improving patient outcomes.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
