Associate Director, Clinical Trial Operations

Insmed seeks an Associate Director of Clinical Trial Operations to lead phase I-IV clinical trials from protocol development through study completion. The role involves managing clinical study teams, overseeing CROs and vendors, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing digital health technologies while prioritizing patient-centric trial design.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead clinical study teams, ensuring training maintenance and continuity
• Manage operational aspects of clinical trials including vendors, CROs, labs, and clinical sites
• Review KPIs and metrics to identify trends and trigger proactive risk management
• Oversee creation and approval of study documents including informed consent forms and protocols
• Mentor assigned study staff and colleagues on clinical operations and trial management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or related field
• 7+ years of trial management experience at a sponsor company
• Experience managing multiple phases of clinical development across therapeutic areas
• Financial management expertise including budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing
• CRO and vendor selection, setup, and management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities for conflict resolution and collaboration

Compensation: $164,000-$213,000 annual
