About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Charleston, West Virginia, 25304!

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Mid 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 Years RN Experience; 1 Year of In-Specialty Experience License: WV/Compact RN License required (pending license accepted) Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: CV and General Surgery Experience Cardiac and General Surgery Experience Circulate and Scrub Experience Proficiency in vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting Description: Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with a focus on cardiac and general surgery. Candidates without CV or general surgery experience should not apply. Shifts are available for three 12-hour days or four 10-hour evenings with weekend call requirements. Holidays may require coverage based on call shifts. Response time for on-call is 30 minutes. The average daily census is 22 cases. Ideal candidates must possess extensive scrub and circulate experience. Experience in vascular, ortho, general, ENT, urology, robotics, and GYN procedures is crucial. Candidates must provide two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years. All required certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association. Permanent employees are not eligible for travel contracts within the health system for a two-year period following their last day worked. Flu vaccine is required unless medical documentation is provided for exemption. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
