Accounts Payable Supervisor

Responsibilities: Supervise the Company's shared services accounts payable function, including supervision of potential future staff Oversee invoice processing for proper handling, accuracy, and general ledger account coding Ensure correct payments are made in a timely manner Assist in all payment transactions such as ACH, wires, paper checks, etc. Perform accounts payable month end functions such as A/P accrual and A/P general ledger account reconciliation Prepare and file 1099's at year end Oversee proper maintenance, filing and storage of invoice and vendor records Assist with audit requests Contribute to the development and improvement of all AP processes and procedures Perform any other special duties, projects or analyses as directed by the company Competencies: Demonstrates dependability and shows a sense of urgency about getting results; willing to commit the hours it takes to get the job completed; takes responsibility for actions and achieves results; overcomes obstacles. Compensation: $65,000- $70,000 Annual Salary Qualifications Education Bachelors of Accounting (preferred) Experience Bachelors degree in Accounting or other related field preferred Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures (preferred) Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (I.e.: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, word, etc.) (preferred) 1099 filing experience.
