Surgery Coordinator - Perioperative Central Scheduling

Job Title

This position is Monday-Friday from 10:30am-7:00pm.

Plan and coordinate services for families throughout the surgical experience including: scheduling new patient, follow up pre-op, PASS, and post-op appointments, procedures, diagnostic tests, recalls, surgical admissions and interpreters in close collaboration with family and clinic staff; working closely with OR to ensure maximum room utilization; coordinating the insurance approval process; and managing patient records.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent experience. Knowledge of medical terminology. Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare scheduling experience as a Family Service Coordinator or equivalent clinical reception/coordinator experience. Significant experience working with the general public in a health care/customer service environment. Familiarity with other cultures/bilingual skills.

Compensation Range

$24.77 - $37.16 per hour

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

This compensation range is specific to Seattle, positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
