Job Title Speech Language Pathologist Location Hilton Head Island, South Carolina Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation findings
- Monitor and document patient progress toward established therapy goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Prior experience with geriatric patient populations
- Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid billing in a SNF environment
- Opportunity to work in a desirable coastal South Carolina location on a structured 13-week contract
