Join Atrium Health Cabarrus as a CT Technologist and become part of a fast-paced imaging team providing exceptional care to emergency, trauma, inpatient, and stroke patients. You'll perform high-quality CT imaging, administer IV contrast, collaborate with radiologists and physicians, and help deliver accurate diagnoses while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.

 

Schedule

• Full-Time | Night Shift
• Monday – Thursday
• 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM
• 40 Hours/Week

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Verify imaging orders and patient information using two patient identifiers.
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures and reviewing medical history.
• Administer IV contrast safely following established protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to emergencies when necessary.
• Assist Radiologists during invasive CT-guided procedures.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique guidelines.
• Document procedures, contrast administration, and patient information accurately.
• Operate CT scanners, post-processing software, and related imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT (CT) Certification – Required
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) – Required
• 1–2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Trauma and Stroke experience required
• Experience in a high-volume Emergency Department and Inpatient setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and radiation safety
• Ability to administer IV contrast
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Salary - $32.45 – $40.58 per hour (Based on experience)
