Learning And Development SpecialistThe Learning and Development Specialist in support of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) will support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs for government staff. This role combines instructional design expertise, program management, and an understanding of industry best practices to enhance organizational capability and workforce development. This includes:Instructional Design: Ability to create effective training content, modules, and learning pathwaysProgram Development: Skilled in refining and enhancing existing programs and building new onesNeeds Assessment: Identifies learning gaps and proposes targeted learning solutionsStrategic Thinking: Contributes to L&D strategy and aligns solutions with organizational goalsStakeholder Engagement: Works effectively with government staff, SMEs, and leadershipTechnology & Tools: Comfortable evaluating COTS solutions and using learning platforms or LMS toolsContinuous Improvement Mindset: Regularly evaluates program effectiveness and adapts accordinglyCommunication & Facilitation: Clear, professional communicator in both classroom and virtual settingThis role requires 5-days a week on client site in Arlington, VA.What You Will Need:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
