Senior Product Designer, Amazon Autos

In this role, you'll be designing new product offerings for a new customer experience on Amazon. We're looking for a design leader who: Can think big and design new products of proven customer value Is highly technical and can design solutions that remove customer pain‑points Can invent new experiences and leverage technology to delight customers Can work with a cross‑functional team to develop and execute Can design and deliver experiments that evolve into new learnings Can think, act and design for a global customer In order to be considered for this role you must submit a link to your portfolio as part of your application. You'll champion design decisions through compelling data narratives and customer insights, presenting to senior leadership, mentoring team members, and influencing cross‑functional partners. You'll shape product direction by deeply understanding the Amazon customer base, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Key job responsibilities Create elegant and intuitive, multi‑modal user experiences by incorporating insights, business requirements and technical constraints Lead the planning and strategic phases of a project. Proactively pitch new CX ideas, backed by a strong, well‑articulated rationale Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, and lo‑fi prototypes, with detailed visual design specifications for web and mobile interfaces Independently deliver UX solutions for problems of large scope and complexity Be a champion for user‑centered design by researching/testing your solutions in front of users Present design work to UX, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as stakeholders and executive leadership Contribute to user experience design guidelines and development best practices and standards at Amazon Design Community Proactively mentor and lead other designers Design experiences that balance end‑customer needs with dealer/partner requirements in a B2B2C marketplace model Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define advertising integration strategies that enhance the customer experience About the team This role is on a team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We're collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end‑to‑end, user‑centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar Experience designing for international markets and localization PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with a matrixed team of stakeholders to achieve a common goal or equivalent Experience in online or digital advertising Experience with multi‑sided marketplaces or complex transaction‑based products Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
