The Clinical Nurse will perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of patient conditions and treatments. The role involves the ability to work independently while following physician’s orders, nursing policies and procedures, and hospital standards of care. Facility Overview Located in a semi-desert landscape, this health center serves a diverse community, providing essential medical services to the surrounding area. The site offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient emergency services, along with a variety of specialized care including dental, ophthalmology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures. The medical team consists of various healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive care for individuals of all ages. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards of care. Collaborate with medical staff to assess patient conditions and develop effective treatment plans. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment options. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities. Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute or sub-acute healthcare setting. Licensure and Certifications Current, unrestricted Nursing License to practice in any state of the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Completion of Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) training within six months of hire. National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification to be completed within six months of hire. Shift Information Day shift from 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM.
