Job Summary:
An Operating Room (OR) Charge Nurse/House Supervisor position is available in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves managing surgical units and requires candidates to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position is schedule for nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday, with no call responsibilities. Candidates with orthopedic, neuro, trauma, vascular, gynecologic, urology, ENT, robotics, and general surgery experience are preferred.

Job Details:

• Location: Tacoma, Washington
• Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, COVID-19 vaccine required
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (license to submit), willing to wait for license, minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience, trauma experience required, robotics experience (DaVinci), experience scrubbing, Epic EMR system experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system, scrubbing skills for RN's, charge nurse or house supervisor experience, management experience
• Additional Information: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts within a 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. Scrubbing is required for RNs, and hospital scrubs are provided. Unit-specific orientation is included. Floating to Walters may be required.
