Performance Ford of Somerville is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service BDC. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for our customers, helping to schedule service appointments, answer inquiries, and ensure a smooth and positive experience throughout the service process. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer service inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Schedule and confirm service appointments efficiently to optimize shop productivity.
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in the dealership management system.
- Follow up with customers regarding vehicle service status and repair recommendations.
- Coordinate with service technicians and parts department to facilitate smooth service delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist with other administrative duties as required to support the service department.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable using computer systems and software applications.
- Previous experience in automotive service or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with a passion for helping customers.
- Must be able to work in Somerville, NJ.
