Auto Physical Damage and Property Damage Claims Analyst

Location Raleigh, North Carolina Naperville, Illinois Rolling Meadows, Illinois Virginia Beach, Virginia Overview The Auto Physical Damage and Property Damage Claims Analyst will manage, investigate, and resolve vehicle damage claims for total loss and non‑total loss claims. This role provides quality customer service to insurers, claimants, and internal/external stakeholders. Work Schedule Hybrid schedule: office Monday through Wednesday, with option to work remotely Thursday and Friday. Responsibilities Handle auto claims (total loss and non‑total loss) in a timely manner to ensure proper valuations, settlement offers, and responses to counter‑offers consistent with state statutes and regulatory policy. Maintain compliance with Claims Best Practices for claim handling discipline and quality. Establish 24‑hour contact and maintain appropriate communication with all stakeholders throughout the claim life cycle. Perform accurate reserving practices and ensure adequacy of reserves, confirm or deny coverage, and advise policyholders and claimants on appropriate actions. Negotiate settlements within prescribed authority and explain denials to policyholders, claimants, and attorneys. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications Must‑Have: High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant claims experience. Appropriate claims adjuster licenses. Ability to identify questionable coverage/contract situations requiring supervisory review and demonstrating understanding of basic policy/contract coverages. Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in multiple claims work systems. Ability to set priorities and multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. Preferred to Have: Associate or bachelor’s degree. Experience handling commercial claims. Experience handling non‑total loss claims for commercial and personal line customers. Compensation Annual gross salary range $41,470 – $90,270. Actual salary will be based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and geographic location. Total compensation will include base salary, performance‑based bonus opportunities, 401(k) match, profit‑sharing opportunities, and additional benefits.
