Job Details Job Location: Corporate Water of Life Administration Offices - Fontana, CA 92336 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $32,685.00 - $37,176.00 Salary/year* This position is part‑time, exempt, with ministerial exemption. Responsibilities The Ministry Leader serves as the primary point of connection for small group leaders, providing consistent support, clear communication, and hands‑on leadership. This role includes regularly connecting with leaders, managing communication platforms, and implementing strategies set by the Director. The Ministry Leader helps ensure the overall health, alignment, and growth of small groups while equipping leaders to thrive. Volunteer Development – Recruit, train, and place small group leaders while casting clear vision and direction for their role. Oversee the planning and structure of leader gatherings and development opportunities, ensuring leaders are continually growing and aligned. Provide direct care and oversight for leaders, including intentional check‑ins and strategic calendaring for key leaders. Coordinate regular training for new small group leaders and Community Leads, equipping them with the tools and confidence to lead effectively. Offer ongoing resources, encouragement, and support to foster healthy, thriving leaders. Periodically visit groups to build relationships, strengthen connection, and stay engaged with the life of the ministry. Program Development – Collaborate in the design and execution of small group initiatives, including campaigns, midweek experiences, Circle Ups, and other strategic ministry efforts. Regularly assess the health and effectiveness of small groups, providing insights and feedback to leadership to support informed decision‑making. Leverage data, benchmarks, and leader input to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies that strengthen the overall ministry. Stay informed on current small group trends and best practices to ensure continued relevance and impact. Champion small groups as a primary pathway for connection, discipleship, and service, cultivating environments where authentic community can thrive. Utilize platforms such as Planning Center Groups to effectively organize, track engagement, and maintain clear communication with leaders and participants. As a Ministry Leader – Lead and manage functions and collaborate with the operation of a single ministry team. May be responsible to monitor and oversee a ministry budget. Collaborate with other ministry teams when appropriate. Responsible for cascading communication to next levels in the ministry. As a Licensed Minister – Has the ability to administer sacraments, is considered a spiritual/religious leader in the church, may be an integral part of the worship experience, may perform administrative/management functions within the church. Participate in “All‑In” events, Prayer Mountain, Spiritual Growth Check List, etc. Other duties as assigned. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Intermediate knowledge of office technology tools including web‑based, Facebook, Instagram, MS Office. Ability to recruit, lead, train and supervise volunteers. Ability to appropriately handle confidential information. Aspire to be a Christian role model in accordance with 1 Timothy, chapter 3.
