This role will work closely with Hardware, Software, Systems Architecture, and Product teams to validate the seamless interaction of integrated components. The ideal candidate will bring strong system integration testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to help deliver reliable, high-quality products and solutions.Primary Responsibilities:Develop and implement system integration test plans and strategies for complex hardware and software systems along with 3rd party applications and hardwareCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements, design specifications, and hardware architectureDesign and execute test cases to verify the integration of hardware and/or software componentsExecute field testing in a variety of locations and environmentsIdentify and analyze defects, track them to closure, and assist with root cause analysisCollaborate with developers to identify, isolate, and reproduce issues, and ensure timely resolutionContribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processesContribute and assist with manual testing on various software applicationsContribute and assist with HW testing as needed in the officeStay updated with industry trends and best practices in system integration testing and quality assuranceMust be willing to travelRequired Experience:3 years of experience in system integration testing or a similar roleStrong knowledge of hardware and software testing methodologies, tools, and processesExperience with radio and antenna communication technologyProficiency in designing and executing system integration test plans and test casesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentSelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred Experience:Preference for working in the innovative, fast-paced environment of a startup companyExperience with ATAKExperience with bluetooth technologyExperienced with testing mobile applicationsAn affinity for people who like telling jokes, sharing funny links, do cool stuff outside work, and try to be creative about team building (e.g. survival skills training, murder mystery dinner theater, shuffleboard tournament, Mafia/Werewolf)Familiarity with hardware such as Arduino and/or Raspberry PiLove for goTenna and our mission to build a distributed communication network from the ground-up!CLEARANCE ELIGIBILITY - This position may require eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.Placement at the appropriate job level (entry, senior, etc) will be determined by a combination of years of experience, demonstration of proficiency in this field, and other qualifications.goTenna is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
