Cloud Engineering Senior Specialist

Salary: $120,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least eight years of experience in Identity and Access Management, ideally within financial services.
• We need strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, Java, Groovy Script, and Web API development and integration.
• We are looking for deep expertise in IAM, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, MFA, and FIDO2.
• We require an undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent mix of training and professional experience.

• We collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver authentication solutions using Ping Federate, SiteMinder, Auth0, or similar tools.
• We provide specialist knowledge across the Identity and Access Management domain, including authentication standards and protocols.
• We develop, integrate, consume, and document REST APIs and their specifications.
• We promote code into development, test, and production environments on schedule, while supporting production issues and change control activities.
• We share expertise in software development methods and development architecture standards, and we mentor less experienced team members.
• We take part in design, code, and test reviews throughout the lifecycle to identify and resolve issues.
• We explain technical considerations in meetings with internal clients and other stakeholders.
• We work to understand business needs and technology requirements, and we stay current with the tools and technologies used across our environment.
• We follow our information technology and information security policies and procedures, ensuring deliverables meet requirements.
• We make sure our implementation solutions align with architecture goals such as availability, scalability, performance, and security.
• We contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.

This Cloud Security Engineer position sits within Global Risk and Security, specifically the Enterprise Security and Fraud sub-division, where we protect our crew, property, data, and client assets through trusted security and fraud capabilities. This is a hybrid role with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the office, and Monday and Friday remote. Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.
