Full-time employees are offered competitive benefits as follows: Generous Paid Time Off Paid training Health Insurance Dental and Vision Life insurance 403(b) with company contribution 5% Tuition reimbursement Job Title Foster Care Supervisor Department Foster Care Status Full-Time, exempt Reports To Associate Executive Director of Child Welfare Compensation $69,472 annually Purpose The Foster Care Supervisor provides supervision to the Foster Care Case Managers. This position assists Case Managers with problem solving and provides them with the supervisory support needed to succeed in their position. They will collaborate with DCFS to provide appropriate casework services to individuals and families in the Foster Care Program. Responsibilities Provides direct supervision, training, support, review, and evaluation for foster care case managers and other assigned staff. Directs those supervised in the assignment of cases and work schedules. Ensures case documentation meets agency, DCFS, and COA requirements. Reviews documentation and approves assessments and service plans completed by the Foster Care Case Manager. Attends court hearings, case reviews, staffing, and meetings, as needed. Leads Foster Care Case Managers in moving cases towards permanency. Provides support to Foster Care Case Manager to help succeed in their position. Collaborates and implements Child and Family Team Meetings. Qualifications Master's degree in Human Service (related fields will be considered). Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience (progressive management experience required for positions that manage staff; equivalent experience from an advanced degree or other relevant experience may substitute). Child Welfare License (required). Child Welfare License (preferred). Skills Trauma-informed: Must display willingness to adopt trauma‑informed interventions, principles, and practices; commit to ongoing development of capacity to apply trauma‑informed care; recognize how trauma affects all involved; respond by actively implementing guiding principles; resist re‑traumatization by creating safe, welcoming, supportive environments. Proficient Computer Skills: Outlook, Word. Expert Computer Skills: Outlook, Word. Vehicle Requirements Access to reliable transportation to get to/from work: Required. Access to a reliable automobile: Required. Must provide proof of auto liability insurance (and continue to while working in this position): Required. Must possess a valid driver's license: Required.
