Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

ICU Travel Nurse Opportunity

Provides specialized nursing care for adult patients in IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units, managing patients with acuity levels requiring frequent monitoring and interventions. Ensures safe, effective, and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced patient care, including cardiac monitoring, ventilation, and medication titration.
• Interpret telemetry data and respond promptly to dysrhythmias and emergencies.
• Titrate vasoactive drips and manage complex medication regimens.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Float to other units as needed, demonstrating competency across various clinical settings.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active SC or multistate RN license.
• Possess at least 2 years of RN experience with recent ICU or IICU background.
• Have current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and emergency response.
• Experienced with ventilator management and vasoactive drips.
• Completed at least one travel assignment previously.
