Real Estate Review Lead

As a Real Estate Review Lead in the Valuation Services Group (VSG), you will provide real estate valuation risk support across various business lines, ensuring compliance with appraisal policies and regulations. VSG comprises two appraisal groups: Commercial Term Lending (CTL) Appraisal and Appraisal Services Group (ASG), both staffed by experienced real estate professionals. These groups provide comprehensive valuation services, including appraisals, reviews, and evaluations for real estate transactions.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate appraisals for commercial real estate collateral nationwide in accordance with JPMC policies, USPAP standards, and federal regulations.

• Manage the full appraisal procurement and review process, including scope development, vendor engagement, and report review for compliance and credibility.

• Maintain effective communication with vendors and internal partners to support timely progress and uphold appraisal independence and integrity.

• Exercise sound judgment, proactive communication, problem-solving, and independent decision-making.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

• State Certified General license.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience performing and/or reviewing commercial appraisals.

• Strong analytical, writing, and oral communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Self-motivated, with efficient time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Comprehensive understanding of USPAP and federal appraisal regulations.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

• Four-year college degree; MAI or AI-GRS designation, or equivalent education/experience.

• Collateral360/PARCEL experience is a plus.

• Experience with leveraging AI tools.
