Part Time Jewelry Specialist

Broken English Jewelry is seeking a Part Time Jewelry Specialist to join our team at our beautiful New York store. Our luxury jewelry boutique is one of the leading retailers of jewelry. We are looking for someone with superior customer service skills, an established client book, exceptional sales experience selling luxury products, computer skills, and most importantly a team player.

OBJECTIVE

The ideal candidate is energetic, enthusiastic, and driven with a strong sales mindset. This individual exhibits pride in their work through a strong work ethic, superior organizational skills, and a commitment to cleanliness. They possess excellent customer service abilities, attention to detail, and have some experience in high-end sales or a related field. A team player who supports both the team and store goals is essential. Sales and Revenue Growth Engage customers with a proactive sales approach, contributing to achieving store sales targets. Develop and maintain client relationships, focusing on both retaining existing clients and seeking new opportunities. Assist in the execution of visual merchandising and product presentation to keep the store fresh and appealing. Customer Service Provide exceptional customer service by leveraging comprehensive product knowledge and best-in-class clienteling techniques. Assist clients with personalized recommendations and deliver a superior shopping experience. Support clienteling efforts to meet and exceed store goals. Operations and Inventory Management Participate in inventory management tasks, including reporting discrepancies, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with monthly inventory counts. Ensure merchandise is kept in pristine condition, including organizing and restocking as necessary. Maintain an organized store environment, including the interior, exterior, office, and storage facilities. Staff Collaboration and Support Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive, productive, and inclusive work environment. Assist in training new staff members and support ongoing staff development. Demonstrate teamwork by supporting colleagues in delivering outstanding customer service. Professional Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred; experience in luxury retail is a plus. Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory management is preferred. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong ability to develop client relationships and contribute to brand recognition. Knowledge of merchandise features, fitting techniques, and current fashion trends. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to think clearly, analyze situations, and resolve problems with sound judgment. A proactive attitude with a willingness to tackle new tasks and improve processes.
