This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in neuro and orthopedic surgical procedures, often involving robotic assistance. The role requires versatility and recent experience in the specialty, with a focus on supporting complex cases within a fast-paced environment. Job Details Certifications and Education Requirements: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Location Requirements: No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility. Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room experience within the specialty. Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional Responsibilities: Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve). Skills and Expertise: Proven expertise in neuro and orthopedic surgeries, with occasional robotic case experience preferred. The candidate must be versatile, capable of managing a variety of complex cases. Certifications: Must have knowledge of Cerner electronic medical records.
