Job Description
Registered Nurse - Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Assignment Details We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a high-volume, high-census unit specializing in Mother-Baby and Couplet Care. The assignment length is flexible at either 13 or 26 weeks, with the choice of scheduling options including 3x12-hour shifts or 4x12-hour shifts. The role will require night shifts. Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-acuity postpartum care.
- Must be a 1st time traveler, having been separated from any other organization for a minimum of 3 months.
- Experience in managing high-risk obstetric patients and handling census surges effectively, including managing a 4th couplet.
- Required certifications: BLS and NRP.
- Prior experience with high-risk obstetric care, including:
- Magnesium, Pitocin, and Foley management.
- Postpartum hemorrhage management.
- Substance withdrawal protocols.
- EPIC experience is mandatory; it serves as a hard stop in the application process.
- Keen understanding of standard practices, with the ability to effectively manage 4 couplets typically required in this setting.
