Job Summary:
The geographic location is Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The organization is seeking a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment. The selected candidate will provide specialized cardiac care to adult patients in an 8-bed high acuity unit, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Night shifts with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate degree in nursing; Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or a compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted); minimum of 2 years recent experience in the field of specialty; working under the highest level of professional license. Certifications include: American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA ACLS), American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS), American Heart Association Neonatal Resuscitation Program (AHA NRP) or Red Cross certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if working in pediatric units.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals; parking is available; one position available; this is a contractor replacement role; healthcare professionals will be working in a clinical capacity.
