This role supports daily operations by assisting with shipping, receiving, and material distribution tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable performing physical, hands-on work. Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials manually or using equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, electric dollies, and wheelbarrows.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, machines, and trucks.
- Open containers using appropriate hand tools.
- Count, weigh, and record materials and shipments accurately.
- Stack, stage, and organize materials to support production and warehouse needs.
- Assist machine operators by lifting and positioning materials manually or using hoists.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Previous warehouse or materials handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects frequently.
- Experience operating material-handling equipment (forklift certification a plus).
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Warehouse/production setting
