BC/BE Child Neurologist Opportunity in Greensboro, NC

This position is accountable for taking care of patients and completing all clinical responsibilities. Provides multidisciplinary team coordination services to the assigned areas. Provides medical education to residents, interns and other students. The incumbent participates in or contributes to an environment to advance medical research. The incumbent provides independent judgment in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan.

CHMG Pediatric Specialists is seeking a BC/BE Child Neurologist to replace a retiring physician in Greensboro, NC. This is a primarily outpatient opportunity with occasional inpatient consults and a manageable call schedule.

Position Highlights:

• Primarily outpatient child neurology practice
• On-site EEG lab (EEG reading required)
• Opportunity to work with pediatric residents
• Access to integrated behavioral health and dietician support
• Optional involvement in Neonatal Developmental Follow-Up Clinic and Pediatric Complex Care
• Flexibility to develop subspecialty interests

Qualifications:

• BC/BE in Pediatrics and Neurology
• Eligible for North Carolina medical license and DEA
• Preferred experience: Baclofen and VNS therapies
