Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Technician who is detail-orientated with a strong analytical mind/background and communication skills to provide field sampling services and back-up coordination and data management support to our Environmental Services practice. Ideal candidates will possess relevant experience and/or education and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Your Key Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include the completion of various forms of sampling for characterization and waste profiling purposes; supporting project team in management of analytical data/reports; assembling and maintaining field reports/documents and maintaining regular communication with team members to ensure that client requirements are met.

• Environmental sampling of soil, water, and construction related debris
• Use of various forms of field instrumentation including NORM meter, X-ray

fluorescence (XRF) analyzer, four-gas meter, ionization detectors amongst others * Monitoring multiple communications (email/ text/ IM/ phone) from team members to track different activities * Reviewing documents including analytical reports and field data collection reports to ensure that they meet specific client requirements

• Communication with internal team, subconsultants, and client
• Updating databases and Excel spreadsheets to track program requirements
• Engagement in the process and willingness to identify process improvements to

provide benefit to our client * Complying with all Stantec and client policies including those related to safety, anti-harassment, and drug use Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
