Job Title: Pediatric Float ICU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Duration: Not specified Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of PICU or Pediatric CICU experience License: Active Georgia or compact license Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Must float to two campuses. Must float to all ICUs including PICU, NICU, TDICU, and CICU. Must float to any general care and specialty areas as needed. Patient ratio of 2-3:1. Every other weekend required. Must make up any missed shifts. Must be tested with drug screen. Must receive the flu vaccine; no exceptions or exemptions permitted. Description: The position involves providing nursing care in a Pediatric Float ICU setting. The nurse will be required to float between multiple campuses. All ICU areas and specialty units may be involved as needed. A commitment to night shifts is necessary. The role mandates participation in weekend shifts every other week. Candidates must have a strong background in Pediatric Intensive Care. Documentation will utilize EPIC charting. This position is within a nicotine-free facility.
