Bus Driver We are currently on the lookout for dedicated Bus Drivers to join our elite team in El Cajon, CA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Benefits and Pay $20.91 - $29.00 per hour; starting pay $20.9/hr with progression to $29.00/hr at 49+ months. Full‑time paid training to obtain a commercial driver’s license. Professional development opportunities including ongoing training, potential for internal promotion, etc. Vacation: up to 160 hours per year. Paid Sick Leave: 40 hours per year. Key Responsibilities Execute flawless operations by meticulously following designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations. Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation. Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting maintenance issues, and maintaining cleanliness and safety‑equipment readiness. Uphold company policies and procedures: seat‑belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, compliance with regulatory mandates. Other duties as required. Qualifications 21 years or older. Ability to obtain CDL Class B with passenger and air‑brake endorsement. Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Availability to work day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts as assigned. Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. Physical Requirements Work flexible shifts as needed. Sit for extended periods. Drive in traffic and all weather conditions. Lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects, or equipment above shoulder level without assistance. Move up and down stairs easily. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Work environment includes a combination of indoors and outdoors.
