Travel Physical Therapist - Rehab
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a rehab department offering a mix of inpatient, acute, and outpatient care.
Rehab department within a facility featuring a 35-bed Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) and 488-bed Acute Rehab unit
Multidisciplinary team includes PT, OT, and ST staff
Patient ratios: IRF 1:4, Acute 1:12, Outpatient 1:10
Uses rehab equipment for evaluations and treatments
Documentation via Meditech (IRF and Acute) and NetHealth/ReDoc (Outpatient)
Day shift schedule, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
13-week assignment length
BLS certification required
Experienced therapist required
License required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
Responsibilities include evaluations and follow-up treatments, including vestibular and lymphedema therapy
Strong team dynamics with a collaborative multidisciplinary approach
Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment
Gray or black scrub color required
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
