Global Development Lead, Internal Medicine (MD, Sr. Director)

Global Development Lead for internal medicine clinical development at Pfizer, responsible for leading cross-functional teams in designing and executing clinical trials for assigned assets. The role requires medical expertise in therapeutic strategy, regulatory submissions, and global development programs across multiple geographic locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional clinical development teams in study design, execution, and interpretation
• Create and secure endorsement for clinical development plans and protocol design documents
• Develop comprehensive development strategies for global approval and reimbursement including pediatric plans
• Partner with trial clinicians on governance reviews and provide clinical development strategy input
• Develop submission-level deliverables and regulatory documentation including safety narratives and labels

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• 8+ years clinical research and development experience in academia or biopharmaceutical industry
• Cardiologist with cardiovascular outcomes trial experience strongly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of clinical development, global regulation, ICH/GCP, and adverse event management
• Demonstrated experience managing and training large clinical development teams
• Strong medical/scientific credibility and pharmaceutical development track record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
