Position Details Location: Mease Dunedin Hospital, 601 Main St., Dunedin, FL 34698 Status: Fulltime Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM On Call: Yes Always in person Summary The Procedural RN responsibilities include: RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned This position requires at two years of RN experience with a strong preference for at least 1 year of RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Service. Procedural experience is preferred. Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred for consideration. Certifications and Licensures BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department Preferred Nurse Specialty Education Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing Preferred Bachelor's Nursing Experience Minimum of 2 years RN experience in any setting. Licensed RN and completion of all Clinical Nurse requirements. Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
