Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy in alignment with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) guidelines.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
\n
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, participating in case consultation meetings to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Engage in regular supervision or peer support groups to enhance clinical skills and share insights with colleagues.

• Safeguard client confidentiality and uphold ethical and legal standards in all interactions with clients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Qualifications\n

• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California.

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or closely related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working in a mental health or therapeutic setting.

• Experience working with diverse populations and clinical issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship problems.

• Strong clinical skills and proficiency in therapeutic methodologies relevant to systemic and individual therapy.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain organized electronic health records (EHR) while adhering to documentation standards.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with coworkers effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in community mental health settings or group practices.

• Background in specialized therapies such as play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or trauma-informed care.

• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and modalities, given the remote nature of the position.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plan options, and generous paid time off.
