Civil CAD Technician

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting civil engineering and land surveying projects through drafting & design tasks. This position requires proficiency in various design software and a strong understanding of civil engineering and land surveying principles. The Civil Technician will collaborate with engineers and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and accurately. ***Compensation will be commensurate with experience. ***Signing Bonus!!! Duties * Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings and plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Carlson. * Create schematics and technical documentation to support project development. * Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet specifications and regulatory requirements. * Conduct site visits to gather data for design modifications and project assessments. * Support the construction process by providing technical assistance and resolving design-related issues on-site. * Maintain organized records of project documentation, including revisions and updates. Skills * Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson) for drafting and design tasks. * Strong understanding of construction methods and materials. * Ability to create detailed schematics and technical drawings for engineering projects. * Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. * Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
