Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer Location: Sugarland, Texas, USA (Remote with occasional office visits) Employment Type: Contract About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our client's team in the technology sector. In this role, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power critical applications, ensuring solutions are secure and deployable, and developing web front ends for multiple form factors. Responsibilities
- Develop applications using ASP.NET MVC / .NET
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to clarify requirements and turn them into functionality
- Develop server-side services to be elastically scalable and secure by design
- Ensure solutions are operable, secure by default, and compatible for seamless deployment
- Experience developing applications using ASP.NET MVC / .NET
- Strong proficiency in C#
- Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and modern front-end development practices
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and database management tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Familiarity with Azure development and cloud-based application deployment
- 5 - 10 years of .NET and Azure Technologies
- Computer Science degree or equivalent .NET experience
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular
- Exposure to containerized development environments using Docker
- Experience using Node.js and front-end build tools such as Gulp
- Familiarity with development tools including Visual Studio Code (VS Code) and .NET SDK v8.0
- Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI
