Volt is immediately hiring a Warehouse Associate in Westfield, IN 46074

 

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

 

• Perform material movement activities within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipments safely and efficiently.
• Process receiving, put-away, stock transfers, and material requests.
• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production and customer requirements.
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Utilize ERP systems to track inventory and material transactions.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies using root cause analysis.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, and other warehouse equipment (with required certification/training).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse processes and material flow.
• Assist in training new warehouse associates as required.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, GMP, ISO, FDA, and company standards.
• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.

 

This is a full time, contract opportunity.

 

Schedule:  

1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday to Friday

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Monday to Friday

 

The ideal candidate will have: 

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, inventory control, shipping & receiving, or material handling.
• Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.
• Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience in manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated processes.

 

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.21 per hour.

 

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
