Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Richmond, VA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and functional skills in a hospital setting. This opportunity supports professional growth while serving diverse adult and/or pediatric patient populations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Two years of experience in a hospital setting required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Clinical documentation experience and proficiency with electronic medical records preferred.
• Experience treating patients with acute medical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with early mobilization, ADL retraining, splinting, and cognitive-based interventions preferred.
• Prior travel or contract experience preferred but not required.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–17:00.
• Shift days include a five-day schedule with 10-hour shifts per day.
• Work site: hospital-based occupational therapy; candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
