Concrete Finisher

Overview

The Concrete Finisher is responsible for placing, finishing, and repairing concrete surfaces to ensure a smooth, level, and high-quality finish. This role involves working on various construction projects, preparing surfaces, and using hand and power tools to complete concrete work according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Place, spread, and level freshly poured concrete
• Smooth, finish, and edge concrete surfaces
• Set forms and ensure proper alignment before pouring
• Apply curing compounds and sealants as needed
• Repair cracks, imperfections, or surface defects
• Operate hand tools and finishing equipment
• Follow project specifications and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe job site

Skills and Experience

Qualifications

• Prior experience in concrete finishing or construction preferred
• Ability to read and follow instructions and measurements
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment

• Outdoor construction sites
• Exposure to weather, heavy equipment, and physical labor
• Requires standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion
