LPN Pay & Incentives

• $25.50-$27.50/hour base pay, based on experience
• Shift differentials for evening and overnight shifts
• Additional travel pay available for eligible employees
• $3,000 Full-Time Sign-On Bonus

Available Shifts

• Full-Time Days: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Full-Time Evenings: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

About the Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Somerset Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you'll provide direct nursing care to our residents while working alongside RNs, physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents while using your clinical skills to promote their health, safety and quality of life.

LPN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to resident care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the appropriate nursing personnel.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with treatments and procedures.
• Educate residents and families regarding healthcare instructions and care plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
• Assist with resident admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Promote a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to provide quality, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Strong clinical and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Compassionate approach to resident care.
• Commitment to providing quality care to seniors.
